What we did
Friday Night Lights brought us in to capture Run The Wharf 2026, when 5,500 runners took over Canary Wharf in the heart of London. The scale of the event called for an aerial perspective to do it justice.
Flying a drone over crowds in central London is a specialist operation. It took more than six weeks of approvals — clearances from City of London Airport, the Metropolitan Police and others — plus the planning and safety work to fly legally and safely above the route.
On the day we delivered a set of aerial clips capturing the full scale of the event, from the start line to the thousands of runners moving through the Wharf.
